Part-time Administrative Assistant / Retail Management Position

Location: Portsmouth, RI
Part-time, 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Part-time manager and office assistant in retail store
- Reconcile daily sales in Microsoft Excel for owners review
- Process weekly payroll
- Process weekly Accounts Receivable
- Manage inventory including overseeing vendor orders
- Oversee employees and assist in problem solving
- Maintain order and organization of daily sales reports, vendor invoices, weekly payroll documents, employee schedules, etc.
- Sustain compliance of all vendor agreements
- Responsible for maintaining inventory using a retail software application

JOB REQUIREMENTS: (all must apply for consideration)
- High school diploma (Associates or Bachelors degree in Business or Management preferred or subsequent management experience)
- Valid drivers license and transportation
- Administrative experience (retail preferred)
- Experience in Retail sales and/or retail operations at store level (retail management experience a plus)
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to accurately perform data entry
- Expert computer literacy, and ability to learn and master new software applications

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Must have well-developed leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
- Must be able to maintain organization and communication in a faced-paced environment
- Experience with using QuickBooks and Retail Point of Sale Software a plus
