Description

Our overall purpose is to assist victims on a personal, one-on-one, level. We hope to create a healthy, trusting bond with our clients. We will be with you from the start, sitting through court proceedings, interviews, going to police stations or accompanying you to the hospital, if needed. We give emotional support, explain the court process and help victims to explore options and develop a safety plan, if necessary.

We are not a provider of emergency shelter, counseling, support groups, etc., but we takes into account victims individual circumstances and needs and makes the necessary referrals to organizations specializing in those needs. We will assist you in contacting these organizations for services. We work cooperatively with other advocates working on your case.
